Access and license

Sidecall is currently available without a purchase or subscription. The software and its design remain the property of Candlefish.ai LLC and its licensors. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

If you obtain the iPhone or Mac app through Apple’s App Store, your app license is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. For a Mac app distributed directly by Candlefish, Candlefish.ai LLC permits you to install and use the supplied version for your personal or business work. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or modify it except where applicable law or a third-party license permits.

Your content

You keep your rights in recordings, transcripts, notes, and other content you provide. You permit Candlefish to process that content as needed to provide Sidecall’s features, under the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the rights and consent needed to record, import, and share material. Recording and consent rules depend on the people and places involved.

Sharing choices

For a new personal recording, Sidecall offers separate choices to place it in a room, create a share link, or add a copy to Suite. Check the people and material included before you share. Older calls and imports may retain existing access. Someone who receives a link may forward or save what it opens; revoking the link cannot remove a copy they already kept.

Intelligence and availability

Transcripts, summaries, speaker names, and guidance can be wrong or incomplete. Check the recording and other sources before relying on a consequential answer. Sidecall and its services are supplied as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. This does not remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
